MyShake: The One App That All Californians Should Have

It’s been 30 years since the deadly San Francisco earthquake, Loma Prieta, but for some, it seems like yesterday. Now Californians have available a new app called MyShake which provides an early warning before the shaking starts. Since communications networks can receive and send messages faster than seismic waves travel, early warnings work.
